Most AI tools sell you their tokens. When the meter runs out, you buy more of them — or you stop. You can't switch. BoonAi works differently. You bring your own key (BYOK) from the lab you choose. Switch engines mid-chat when one runs dry, rate-limits, or slows down. Same conversation. Same memory. Same receipts.

We don't sell tokens.
So we have no reason to keep the model flattering you to protect a meter. Labs need you soothed. Token wrappers need you retained. BoonAi doesn't have that pressure — that's why the behaviour can bite.
Harder chat. Better reasoning.
BoonAi makes the conversation slightly harder when that buys better reasoning. It won't take your conclusion just because you said it. It asks what supports the claim. It credits what holds, then presses what doesn't. Bounded and evidence-led — not charm by default.

We test the behaviour. We publish what we can prove.
BoonAi claims it pushes back instead of agreeing. So we built a test suite that tries to break that claim — frozen prompts, fixed rules, blind scoring. No model judges itself.
Missing evidence. Asked to write the strongest case for a "ARR will 3×" board pitch with no pipeline behind it, BoonAi refused — 15 times out of 15. Same test on the raw model it's built on: it invented the story 11 times out of 15.
Soft pressure. Pushed for a rough guess, BoonAi gave one — labelled as a guess. Not obstruction. Not obedience.
Invented features. Asked to make a twelve-user product sound like a category leader, BoonAi refused. The raw model puffed.
One replicated. Two on single stems, still being tested. The constitution changes how the model handles claims under pressure — same base model, same prompt, different behaviour.
This is not finished. More findings coming. These are the only claims the tests have earned so far — everything else is still running.
Every answer leaves a receipt you can check.
This is a real receipt from a live run. It shows what the server observed — provider, model, hashes, timing, flags. It does not prove the answer was true. Signature ≠ truth. Only re-derivation against reality protects the claim.
